Managing Director, Marcus Puddy worked for Lloyds Banking Group for over 25 years and has had numerous roles from their very own John Harvey-Jones to positions in branch management, supplier management and procurement.
Marcus entered the vehicle fleet industry over 15 years ago, having being asked to manage the Lloyds Bank company car fleet. After radically reducing the cost of operating the Lloyds fleet, Marcus moved to Lex Autolease where he spent 12 years building the fleet management, implementation and consultancy teams. In the latter years he progressed to the role of Commercial Vehicle Director where his team was to become one of the market leaders.
With a proven track record in growing, retaining and winning business, Marcus now heads the PVS team, covering all aspects of fleet strategy, procurement, operation and delivery.
Rob Rudd has been a commercial executive working within large corporate and small to medium sized organisations for over 30 years. His areas of expertise includes sales & marketing, sales training, bid management, management techniques, and commercial growth strategies. He has successfully promoted services to both the public and private sectors and has a career record of succeeding in business and surpassing business expectations.
His success is based on well-honed business practices. He combines this with an approach to business based on delivering what you say you are going to deliver. This approach encourages trust – and trust is the foundation for success.
Paul Groundwell joins PVS Ltd with over 15 years’ experience as Group Fleet Manager for SSE, Paul will be consulting with PVS to offer direct support, advisory and consultancy services to busy fleet managers and operators.
Paul also has previous experience gained in managing a large diverse fleet comprising of over 2000 cars, 5400 commercial vehicles and 10000 items of specialist plant & equipment has allowed for a unique and deep understanding of the challenges faced by todays commercial fleet operators.
Paul can offer a wide range of direct support services; asset procurement, in-life asset management, commercial vehicle compliance, design and build and asset utilisation and cost reduction.
Kate Burrow joins PVS Ltd as a Finance Analyst and alongside running the day to day finances of PVS will also undertake financial and data analysis to support our clients.
Following a desire to move towards a more finance based career Kate embarked upon part time study with AAT whilst juggling a busy full time role as Area Sales Manager for Babcock Int. and a voluntary role within a not for profit organisation as Finance Administrator. After successfully getting a foothold in the finance sector she continued her studies to complete AAT and then started CIMA, gaining experience within the finance department of a care company and then finally completing her CIMA qualification whilst working within the finance and reporting section of Debenhams.
Kate is driven, keen to learn, organised and good at remaining flexible when priorities are changing.
Office Manager Kelly started her working life in the Royal Navy as a Communicator, communicating with ships and shore establishments around the world. Since leaving the RN Kelly has worked in the office environment in management and organisational roles. Kelly joins us having worked at Weston College, the top performing College in the South West, working in the Creative Arts Faculty as the Faculty PA, a very busy and demanding position, managing the administration team, organising events, planning and managing projects, whilst ensuring policies and procedures were adhered to throughout the Faculty.
Kelly is highly organised and efficient, a great communicator with a positive outlook on everything, she works hard at building relationships and ensures the job is done professionally and proficiently. Kelly has a can-do attitude and prides herself on the customer service standards she delivers and expects from her teams.
Office Administrator, part-time, Shannon has joined us to head up our social media presence and to increase our marketing profile in the fleet industry.
An accomplished administrator, proof reader and stickler for details, Shannon joined us having worked at Weston College. Shannon began her working career as a Business Apprentice at Weston College and soon became an integral part of a very busy faculty. After successfully completing her Level 3 Business Apprenticeship Shannon travelled for 4 months, stopping in the USA, New Zealand and Australia. On returning to England she resumed her work at Weston College in several roles through an agency. Shannon’s decision to step away from education in to the fleet business with PVS will strengthen our back-office support of our clients whilst raising the PVS profile.
